Apollo Hospital - Incorrect billing
Mh filed complaint against Apollo Hospital on Apr 15, 2023
Hi,
I was admitted in Apollo hospital on **th March and took some basic treatment for which hospital billed me **,***/-.
I requested to give some discount as the charges where too high for basic treatment. Excluding room for just Half day basic treatment was around **,***/-.
The MOD ubruptly denied giving discount nor she allowed me to talk to her supervisor.
I didn’t have some much money at that time, they told only if i pay they Will discharge me from hospital.
Night MOD assured they Will not charge *day Bill but in the morning day MOD Said she cannot give any waiver hence i had to pay full amount with my credit card.
They have also added Anesthesia Doctor consultation charges which was not mine.
Apart from that they have added some surgical consumebales which was not at all used.
When i enquired about this they told they Will refund of **,***/- but now they are saying refund is not possible instead they Will give discount if i get hospitalised in future.
Very disappointing response from billing manager and also from Department head.
I have a voice recording with the deparment head where she is clearly saying refund is not possible she Will give free CT scan in future.
These hospital management have no feelings to patients life just bill wrongly and give future offers when we ask:(
