I am writing this letter to bring to your notice about highly lethargic and miserable service provided by Krishna Auto Sales (dealer), Mohali for my Volvo XC** car.
The measure of insensitivity showcased by them, can simply be gauged in my case by the delay shown in rectifying my car. I had sent my damaged car for Insurance claim and subsequent part replacement on **th Sep’** and after approximately ** days I still have no outlook towards receiving my car any time soon.
I very well understand that there would be some time required in completion of the Insurance claim process and subsequently parts would be replaced. But, there has already been a considerable time lapsed after settlement of the insurance claim as well and upon my numerous follow ups and mails to the dealer, I have simply been informed that standard lead time of their dealership for parts replacement is more than a month. I fail to understand that even if the part needs to be imported then also a delay of such magnitude is not at all justified.
Nevertheless, I reluctantly agreed as I had no other option to consider and proposed to the dealer to atleast provide me with any spare vehicle as an interim solution. Since I was informed that my car would be hold up at the dealer station for around two months, I believe it was fitting here on my part to request for a car to ensure my daily conveyance requirements. However, here too the delaer lent a dead ear to my request. Currently, I have been renting a car on daily basis to ensure my work doesn’t get sacrificed but it is highly unjust that I should bear any financial brunt for a lapse of the dealer.
