- Hotel not honouring my booking Open
Booked Hotel Imperia for accommodating my guest on *th to *th May ** online through Agoda website on **th April **. For which I got a confirmatory mail after paying the full amount in advance. On approaching hotel on **th April ** the property owner is denying my booking saying "I had not confirmed your booking and now my hotel is fully booked and I can't accommodate your guests". The hotel didn't convey his denial to me prior now I have to face great embarrassment in front of my guest additionally I will have to pay the exorbitant cost for booking a hotel in the eleventh hour. On asking for a refund he is saying that Agoda will refund me not him. When I contacted Agoda customer care executive is asking me to cancel the booking and refund will take ** days for processing and they are giving ** % of booking amount as Agoda cash which is of no use to me as I am not going to book any property through Agoda. Agoda is a Singapore based company with no office in India.
