Honor - Honor Band 6 connection issue in Honor health app

Last year, I received an Honor Smartband * as a birthday gift. However, after one year, I encountered difficulties when trying to connect the smartband to my phone. The problem arose because the Huawei Health app was no longer available, and only the Honor App Health app remained. Initially, I was unable to log in, presumably due to the separation of the two companies, requiring me to create a new account. Additionally, every time I scanned for my device, it was not visible. I thoroughly checked for compatibility, updates, Bluetooth settings, and permissions. I even went so far as to reset my watch and turn my phone off, yet the device remained invisible on the Honor app.

In an attempt to find a solution, I turned to online resources and came across a video and an article suggesting that the issue could be resolved by installing an older version of the Huawei Health app from the Huawei app store. I followed the instructions and successfully installed the app, but my device still failed to connect. I feel extremely disappointed by this experience, especially since I was unable to locate any customer support specifically available in India. The lack of support is highly concerning, and I am considering taking legal action against the company. Furthermore, I believe the company should compensate me for the inconvenience caused, as the smartband is rendered useless without the ability to connect, resulting in the loss of my data and wasted time and money. This frustrating situation has caused significant inconvenience not only to me but also to many other consumers facing similar problems. I urge the company to rectify this issue promptly, or I will be left with no choice but to escalate the matter to the consumer court.
