I want to register a complaint against the oriental insurance company ltd and NDM bajaj agency Chandigarh. I bought Bajaj Pulsar NS *** from NDM Bajaj dealer Chandigarh industrial area phase *on **/**/****. They gave me an insurance policy issued by Oriental Insurance Ltd. I asked them about the policy they said your bike is insured bumper to bumper for the first year and third party for the next * years. But on * March ****, my bike got damaged because of getting slipped on the road. I went to the NDM bajaj service centre where I met with Mr Vikram workshop executive I explained to him about all the incident and fill the necessary forms and documents submit to him. They said it will take ** days. I asked them about the claim then he said your bike is insured under the bumper to bumper so the cashless facility is available to you. After two days I got a call from the surveyor Mr Harsimran Singh and he asked me about how bike get damaged I explained to him. But his behaviour with me was not good on call and he handed over the phone to Mr Vikram. After that ** days later I visited the workshop to see my bike but it was not repaired when I talk to Mr Viram he said the surveyor is not ready to process my application for the claim. I again talk to the surveyor he said he will not process the claim and said go to their registered office in ** B Chandigarh. I request to him to process then he said to get the affidavit from E Sampark and write about the incident again and get that attested from DC office and give your KYC and many other unnecessary documents. In meanwhile I met Mr Dinesh Gupta Manager of Oriental insurance and Mr Arvind Chopra workshop manager and told them about the incident. I requested them again to process my claims because I was out of money at that time. But Mr Dinesh Gupta told me I can't ask them how to work and claim the cashless facility. His behaviour was not good for me. I again went to Mr Arvind Chopra who said he will talk to the insurance company and asked me to deposit **** Rs to him and he releases my bike. After ** days, I got a call from Mr Chopra saying they need to check my bike and need my signature on some documents. I visit there again on **/*/**** he said they need to capture the photos of my bike so they took my bike to the workshop and took the keys. Then he said the bill is around ***** Rs and insurance company give only **** Rs. I told him my bike is bumper to bumper insured then he told me insurance policy does not cover bumper to bumper. I was shocked I went to their representative. There was a lady who told me that the policy covered bumper to bumper. But the workshop manager and Mr Dinesh Gupta were not ready to listen to me. Workshop manager said you have to pay **** Rs. otherwise, they will not release the bike. Then I paid all pending amount to them and took my bike. They people totally harass me waste my two office working days in unnecessary things and mis-sell me the wrong policy. And waste my money on all these things.
Kindly register my complain against them and take the action on them and give me the compensation so that in future they people will not make the fool of others.
