I am writing to you because I haven’t recieved a satisfactory respose to my issue from Go Air!!
What happened with me is unfortunate, but i wish it doesnt happen again with others as well.
Go Air took me for a long ** hour ride to my final destination- Port Blair
I booked a flight from ahmedabad to port Blair, which is a route scheduled in the Go air itinerary, G* *** , this flight took off in time from the Ahmedabad Airport, however for some reason best known to them, theu took off ** mins before the scheduled departure time from bangalore which was supposed to be a connection and not a layover!
They have refused to take responsibility for this, saying they have already done their best by giving me a flight which departed ** hours later to take me to kolkata, then another * hours of layover to get to port blair at * in the morning next day. An entire day wasted for a traveller and apart from that paying out of pocket for changing my itinerary.
What fails to amaze me is the fact that if they are rescheduling a flight like this which is a connecting flight, where generally new passengers board at the connecting airport.
I would like to believe Go air isn’t technologically handicapped , but this only shows that it is, where they didnt leave a passenger Booked on the same flight number G* *** enough time to catch the next flight, i also have supporting documents such as my boarding pass for both these flight which i would share with you as well.
I would like to believe they arent doing this because i was the single passenger on connection, but it only leads me to believe that they were okay with leaving a single female passenger stranded at the airport for ** hours!
Thanks to their horrendous service i have suffered monetary losses in terms of my hotel booking and also mental harrasment for ** hours of waiting at the Airports alone in a different city , Bangalore all together!!
I reside in Ahmedabad and they were only kind enough to provide me lounge access, which we all know is no big deal today.
They didnt offer a hotel saying we cant, and lounge access is all we can do. I accepted because there were no options!
Is it fair to reschedule it to a time when they know there is a transit passenger Booked on same PNR and with the same Flight NO, again higlighting it was the same Flight Number, not booked separately by me.
How is this fair? Go Air said they did the best for me, but i want to know is this all i can expect from an airline for a layover of ** hours?
To shy away from responsibility is all they have done!!
I hope you can intervene and get me a better resolution for this issue.
