Shioram Krishnan filed complaint against Phonepay Apblutil on Jul 28, 2020
On **st July,I received an SMS to renew my KYC from PAYTM as the same has expired and that my account will be blocked if not renewed.
So I contacted the no.**********,he asked me to recharge Rs.* to may PAytm account.He then told me to do KYC myself and asked me to download 'QUICK SUPPORT paytm' .On doing that he asked me to give him the ID no displayed in the APP which I did.
Then he asked me to recharge Rs.** using my TATA credit cards.
As i had to input my card no,expiry date and the CVV no,somehow he got the details and then within minutes I started getting OTP from TATA /SBI card and then the transaction of debits to complete the transactions.
As per the message from TATA/SBI card there are * transactions that is done on Phonepe the details as follows:
Rs.*****- ** July ****
Rs.***** - ** July ****
Rs.***** - ** July ****
Transaction done on my TATA card on APBLUTIL
Rs..*****-** July ****
As I realised these are fraudulent transactions done by somebody else, I informed SBI card reg this on ** July **** itself and both my cards have been immediately blocked.
