First of all, they go by the other name “the travel club” when you reach out to them for any travel enquirers and if you search by that name in google you will end up seeing lot of other “legitimate” travel agents, just to mislead everyone they use that name, but “ride travel club” and “the trvel club” are same. You can see the same contact number on both websites. We have planned for a trip to Shimla with “the travel club” initially we were given some attractive offers and lot of buttering from the travel agent “ankur” as we had planned the trip five months before of the actual date, Their initial quote was for accommodation + Shimla sight seeing which is of inr *****, we chose and responded to them (By this time someone from their team will start pinging you in whatsapp to build rapport) initially over the phone they will explain about all their policies and everything without letting you read their document completely, over the phone they will never tell that this is one way transaction and there is no concept of refund with them, after we agreed for the package we paid advance of inr ***** through paytm for which they will even send you a receipt, all they said over the phone was you will have to pay the balance at the time of check-in directly in the resort, before one week of the actual trip they called up and said they need the remaining amount to be transferred to confirm the booking, when asked they said their *rd party agency is asking for the full payment, when we asked if we can get some kind of confirmation about the resort booking before we pay the remaining amount, we spoke to “ankur” manager “raj dixit” who for the first time asked us to read the policy, the policy says refund is not an option if we cancel the trip within ** to ** days of the departure, in our case we reached them only before ** days of the actual trip, I paid the whole amount and waiting for my can and hotel vouchers which i received after a week and then we call each and every resort and they mentioned that the room is booked for us and i was relieved an then we started a trip. My trip was going good when we checked out from first hotel we got to know they have only paid the half amount to each and every hotel. when i call and asked they told they have some issue with account office for now you pay and we will pay you later and we dont have any other option and we paid and moved but out trip is already messed up and we all were completely upset and mood off.

Also, they have asked me to pay the GST amount and peak charges we have paid too but never received any kind of bill receipt.

Do not ever plan any vacation with these people, they will ruin your plan
