I bought an LG Dishwasher (model no: D****CF, SNo. ***KWHX*V***) on ** Nov **** from an authorized dealer, Ahuja world of electronics, Kolhapur. It was working fine then one day I observed water leakage around the machine. I immediately turned off the machine(got a mild electric shock). For this, I contacted the LG customer care. A guy came from LG service center, did some inspection and repaired the machine. After this, there was degradation in the performance of the machine (utensils were bit uncleaned). After about ** months, again there was a water leakage and continuous electric shock from the body of the machine. Again I contacted LG service center and this time a guy name Mangesh Davari came. He inspected the machine thoroughly and said, it cannot be repaired here, you have to take it to LG service center(Geeta Electronics Kolhapur).
As it was already in the warranty period so I decided to take it to LG Service center(Geeta electronics).
I've dropped the machine for repair on ** May ****. I kept calling them for updates but they kept telling the issue is still not fixed need more time. These things went for about * months then my son got to know about this issue and he suggested to file a complaint against them. After hearing about the complaining part, within ** days delivery boy from Geeta electronics came with the machine to my home(just a few days before the warranty expiry date) on ** Nov ****. In short, Geeta electronics kept our dishwasher for almost * months. The delivery guy(driver) just dumped the machine and asked to sign on the delivery receipt. He was asking me to sign on a predated delivery receipt and the machine was not the one which I have given it for repair. There were so many scratches on the body and it was looking very old. When I asked about the same to the delivery boy, he left the place without even taking the receipt papers. I called Geeta electronics and complained the same. They are not ready to accept it that the machine itself is changed. They have edited the job numbers on receipt and pasted printed company stickers on the machine. Their supervisor is still saying that we are trying our best and working on your complaint. This is the first time I have had a bad experience with LG. I have already paid *****/- to buy and spent money on transport in addition to this now I lost the warranty on the machine also. Even the machine is not working. I'm bringing out this situation to your attention as you (LG) have a very good reputation in Indian markets. I, myself brought many other electronics equipment of LG. I believe I would get a quick response from you(LG) and get it(machine) replaced through the local dealer with very strict action against Geeta electronics. Thank you in advance.
