- Formal Complaint Against Triumph Motorcycles for Delivery Delays and Lack of Communication Open
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Triumph Motorcycles regarding the significant issues I have encountered during my recent motorcycle purchase experience.
On July *, ****, I enthusiastically booked a Triumph Speed *** during your introductory offer period, which was advertised as available for the first **,*** customers. To my delight, I was among the fortunate individuals who secured a spot, being one of the first *** bookings in Bangalore.
However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment as the process unfolded. The bike's arrival at the Keerthi Triumph showroom in Bangalore, which was expected by mid-August, was delayed. Although I was part of the first batch of customers, this delay set a negative tone for my entire experience.
By the end of August, I received a notification from Keerthi Triumph Bangalore that my bike had been allocated to me. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the payment at that time due to my absence from the city. My attempts to contact Keerthi Triumph to obtain the necessary bank account details proved futile, and I resorted to raising complaints through Triumph's call center management just to receive basic updates on my purchase.
After a prolonged struggle, I finally managed to obtain the bank account details. However, determining the final payment amount was another challenge, especially as I had chosen Bharat Registration (BH). It wasn't until September *th that I received the definitive payment details. I promptly made a payment of Rs ***,*** on September **th, with the intention of procuring insurance separately.
Despite completing the payment, I was left without a payment receipt from Keerthi Triumph, prompting me to raise multiple complaints through Triumph's call center management. It was only on September **th that I finally received the payment receipt. Moreover, the invoice with the engine and chassis numbers required for insurance purposes was sent to me on September **nd.
In an effort to adhere to the process and complete my purchase, I promptly obtained insurance. However, my communication with Keerthi Triumph took a turn for the worse. The individual responsible for collecting my insurance policy details ceased responding to my calls and messages, leaving me in the dark regarding the next steps.
Desperate for clarity, I inquired with another Keerthi Triumph representative about any outstanding requirements on my part. I was assured that everything was in order. Thus, I believed that my insurance policy details had been forwarded for registration purposes.
However, the lack of communication persisted. Despite numerous attempts to obtain updates on the registration process, I received none. It wasn't until last week, on October *th, that I escalated the matter through Triumph's call center management again. A representative contacted me on that day, gathered information, and promised a follow-up. Regrettably, I received no response.
On October *th, when I followed up, they told me they will get back to me on Monday since RTO is closed on Sunday. After reaching out several times on *th October finally I was informed that the registration process had not even begun, purportedly due to my failure to provide insurance details, despite having submitted them on September **nd.
This entire ordeal has been deeply frustrating and has had financial consequences for me, as I have initiated a loan of Rs * lakh with monthly EMIs, and I am still without a clear resolution in sight.
Given these circumstances, I feel compelled to escalate this issue and consider legal action to protect my interests. I urge Triumph Motorcycles to take immediate action to resolve this matter satisfactorily and provide me with clear and consistent communication moving forward.
