I placed an order for biryani via UberEats on Friday, May **th at *.** pm. The delivery partner was Biryanibykilo with outlets across NCR. The order was confirmed and initially estimated arrival was shown as *.** pm. Then it changed to *.** pm after an hour. At **.** pm I called up the customer service number of BiryanibyKilo to check the status of my order. Mr Bhavesh picked up the phone and confirmed that delivery will happen before **.** pm. However, to my surprise, they cancelled the order at **.** pm without giving any reasons. I had guests at my home waiting for dinner to come and they had to go without any food that day. It was so embarrassing for me that any cost towards this damage to me will not be able to fulfil. I raised this issue with UberEats as they are the ones providing their platforms for any delivery issues however they didn't bother to take it up. In fact, after * of my emails, they stopped responding with the standard response that they will work to avoid such issues. What about the damage to my image which is caused due to UberEats and Biryanibykilo.
