- False Sale of Travel Policy Open
I have purchased a domestic Travel Insurance No :SX******* on *th December **** after satisfying with the benefits of the policy, (Annexure *)
We see common carriers cancelling flight frequently and at the last minute with a mute reason "Operational Reason" and our pre-booking are at toss, so the undersigned took all the strain to send representations to the Insuring company through there agents to clarify the right of claim in the above situation , which was replied positive that the claim would be vaild in the circumstance Annexure *)
The undersigned frequently traveled, with no hassle and the policy completed **% of the term. The undersigned flight on *nd April BOM to Hyd by jetairways was cancelled due to operational reasons before the grounding on **th April. The same was communicated to the insuring company from whom I received the claim for which was submitted and acknowledged on April **th **** (Annexure *)
On May **, **** the claim was repudiated with wrong category (Annexure *).
I have personally spoke with the concerns and requested them to re-check the correct category of claim, but was shocked and surprise to learn that there is no claim payable under flight cancellations (Annexure *).
I have send there post sale confirmation of claim eligibility( (Annexure *).and (Annexure *). are contrary to each other and requested clarification but in vain as neither the principals or the agents are in mood to respond, being guilty of wrong communication.
I would like to request you to please find the reasons for wrong sales and help poor policy holders in the hands of the un-business people.
The question is about miss-selling as a wrong product if no claim its good else repudiate the case.
