I had booked a flight from BLR to BOM, scheduled to depart on August *, ****, through Goibibo’s platform. Along with the flight, I purchased a Date Change Add-on, which entitles me to change the date up to * hours before departure by paying only the fare difference.

Due to last-minute changes in my plans, I attempted to initiate a date change on August *, ****, at **:** PM through Goibibo's website. However, their system failed to process the request and instead advised me to contact the airline directly for resolution. The error screen also displayed phone numbers that were purportedly Goibibo's but actually belonged to MakeMyTrip, where the representative refused to assist.

Ultimately, I had no choice but to use the Air India Express portal to initiate the date change, which resulted in an additional charge of Rs. *,***/- as a date change fee, on top of the Rs. *** fare difference.

Despite promptly reporting this issue to Goibibo and providing all necessary evidence, including screenshots and invoices, they have refused to acknowledge their mistakes or issue a refund. Even after seven days, they have failed to take accountability, instead offering contradictory statements and outright lies.

Goibibo is exploiting passengers by offering misleading add-ons and causing significant mental stress.
