I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding my recent experience at an establishment called, LIT Pub, on Church Street, Bengaluru.
On **th March ****, I visited LIT Gastropub for beverages and food. Regrettably, I encountered multiple issues during my visit that have left me profoundly disappointed with the level of service and cleanliness provided.
Firstly, I would like to address a concerning incident involving a double charge on my credit card. Upon making a payment, I explicitly warned the server not to remove my card while the authentication process was still ongoing in the POS machine. Despite my clear, verbal instructions, the server removed my card, knowing well that the transaction would take place and defraud me. He put my card in the POS machine again and then my credit card was charged twice due to the blatant carelessness of the server. Subsequently, I immediately brought this matter to the attention of your staff (Manager named Afsar Shariff), requesting reimbursement for the duplicate amount of ₹****.**. However, to my dismay, I was met with a refusal and have since been ignored despite my attempts to contact your establishment through calls and messages. I find this disregard for customer concerns and failure to rectify a clear mistake completely unacceptable.
Furthermore, I must bring to your attention another issue regarding the cleanliness of your establishment. During my visit, I was appalled to discover tiny cockroaches in my food and on the table. This blatant disregard for hygiene standards is deeply concerning and poses a significant risk to the health and safety of your patrons.
I am left with no choice but to demand immediate reimbursement of the duplicate amount wrongly charged to my credit card. I have provided my account information for your convenience.
I urged them to take swift and decisive action to address these issues and restore the reputation of LIT Pub, but again my calls and my attempts to make contact were rendered useless. As I live in West Bengal and was there for work purposes, I am unable to visit the establishment personally, I Implore the consumer protection authorities to take action on my behalf.
