Grievance Details : On Wednesday, **th Dec ****, while searching for Dubai holiday packages on the internet, I found this company named Fana Travels Pvt Ltd. I visited their website https://fanaholidays.com/ and contacted the company at their mentioned mobile number +** ********** to enquire about the package. This guy who introduced himself as Mr. Manish offered me some deals and asked me to share more details such as travel date, number of passengers etc. via WhatsApp. I sent the required details on his WhatsApp number +** ********** and he shared the package details with me. He also mentioned to share documents such as Passport front & back copy and * passport size photo of travelers. After some negotiation on price, we finalized one of the deals for *N *D package which covers UAE Tourist visa, Air Tickets, Transfer, Hotel, Meals and Dubai Tour for me and wife (Karuna Sehgal). The dates I given to him were from **th Dec **** till *rd Jan ****. He told me that first he would apply for UAE visa and asked me to deposit INR **,*** for the visa processing (INR ****/person) in the following bank a/c – A/C No : ************ Name : Fana Holidays Pvt Ltd IFSC Code : ICIC******* Current Acc After I deposited INR **,*** in the above account from my HDFC salaried a/c via Ref no. IMPS************, he asked me to share the screenshot of the payment through WhatsApp. I sent the payment screenshot and he confirmed the receipt of the same. He mentioned that he would start the visa process next day followed by the booking of flight tickets. On Thursday, **th Dec ****, at **.** pm, I messaged him on WhatsApp to check the status of visa. He assured me that I would get the visa by * pm. At *.** pm, he sent me the visa via WhatsApp for me and my wife. He then advised me to deposit INR ***** per person for flight booking. After finalizing the flight details, I deposited INR **,*** in his earlier mentioned a/c via Ref no. IMPS************ from my HDFC salaried a/c and shared the payment screenshot with him. On Friday, **th Dec ****, at **.** noon, he sent me the tickets via WhatsApp and advised me to pay the remaining balance for Hotel and other bookings in UAE. He chased me again for the payment couple of time and at *.** pm, I deposited a sum of INR **,*** in his same a/c from my HDFC salaried a/c via Ref no. IMPS************ and shared the payment screenshot with him. On Saturday, **th Dec ****, at *.** pm, I tried calling him but he didn’t respond the call. On Sunday, **th Dec ****, at *.** pm, I sent him a WhatsApp message to check the status of my final Itinerary. He told me that due to Sunday being the holiday, he would send me the final package next day (i.e. Monday) On Monday, **st Dec ****, at *.** pm, I asked him to call me but he said he would call me late evening. Since he didn’t call me, I called him at his mobile at *.** pm. He assured me that he would end me the final itinerary next day (i.e. Tuesday). On Tuesday, **nd Dec ****, after waiting the whole day, I still did not receive any itinerary or package confirmation details from him. On Wednesday, **rd Dec ****, at *.** am, I messaged him on WhatsApp and asked him to send me the final package itinerary in the morning without fail. At *.** a, he replied as ‘ok’. At **.** pm, I again chased him for the package and he said by * pm he would send everything however he still failed to send the final package details. On Thursday, **th Dec ****, at *.** am, I got frustrated and messaged him to send me all the details however at **.** pm he said he would send in * hours. By now, I realized that something was fishy and I checked the visa details on UAE Govt website. However, I was shocked that the visa details mentioned on the visa which he sent to me were found to be invalid as no records was found on UAE Govt. website. Then I tried pulling the ticket details on Emirates Airlines website via PNR number mentioned on the ticket. As I was suspecting, no ticket details were found as the PNR was not valid and it was a fake ticket. I then realized that I was cheated by this person and he defrauded me for INR **,*** for Dubai Holiday Package by sending me Fake UAE visa and Tickets as well as not committing to his promise of sending me complete package. Finally at **.** pm, I messaged him and asked him to refund my money or provide me valid package else I would file a complaint against him. However, when I called him he said he has cheated me and he is not afraid of any complaints. He also abused me over the call. With this incident, I and my family are in shock and quite disturbed with this monetary loss. Therefore, I request the authorities to take strict legal action against this person/company and help me recovering my money from them as it is my hard earned money.
