- Dental negligence by clinic Open
I am writing to submit a complaint regarding the negligence and damage done to my tooth during the dental surgery. On **th March self consulted Dr Neha Gupta at her Clinic with X-RAY & OPG regarding my dental treatment wherein she said she will advise in a day or two with final advice. On *st April she advised for "Surgical Curettage and exultation of the cyst by raising a flap." (attached prescription) and she asked to pay INR ***** total. She also advised that she will be doing the RCT only and surgery will be done by the experienced surgeon who will be coming from outside.
On *th April the treatment was started and she started cleaning the canal of all three teeth and in between, she advised she will charge INR ***** i/o INR ***** as it took more time. I denied and requested that it was agreed in INR ***** only but she marked rigidly and forced to pay INR ****, which I had paid as I did not have any option since she had already cleared the filling of the tooth. Finally, I was called for surgery on **th April and I reached clinic around **** hrs and was asked to pay INR **** by her receptionist Mrs Geeta and self-paid INR **** and said will pay in next visit.
Dr Neha Gupta started the treatment where I quoted her message of dated *st April that there will be an external surgeon for surgery but she said no issues at all as she will be doing the surgery and she started with help of her driver Mr Mahipal. She also said you please worry for the fruit & do not count tree ("Aap aam khao na pair kuin geen rahe ho, then i said aapne bola tha na k external surgeon aayga).
Since the treatment was already started so I had no option rather continue somehow after *.* hours approx the surgery was done and medicines were advised accordingly and I went to my home. Now after a week, I was called for cutting the stitch and I reached the clinic with my friend Manish Kumar Baisoya and the stitch was removed by her accordingly.
Afterwards, I asked her to provide bills for the treatment and fill a form which I need to submit to the insurance company for reimbursement which she mentioned she will be provided next week.
After a week again I called her on the board line regarding the pain in teeth and swelling in Gum. She said we have done the best effort which I can and could not do anything further. Also, I asked for the bills and insurance form which she mentioned that she will provide only when I sign the consent form then I mentioned that this was not advised earlier then why should I sign now then she said she can not do anything.
Finally, I requested her that see madam I lost my health, time and money as well, if you were not confident why have you done the treatment. She said to do whatever you can I'm not going to entertain further in this regard. Request your urgent intervention in this regard to provide justice as I lost my everything health, time and money as well and the unbearable pain which I faced during surgery. I shall be highly obliged to you, awaiting your earliest revert in this regard. Please find attached all related documents regarding the subject issue.
