Dell Inspiron ** **** Hinge repairs experience
It started when i took my laptop to the walk in authorised service centre. They took * days for a call back. And when i went in for first time. I made it very clear that apart from the hinges change cost I don't want any extra cost other than repairing charge and labour charge. Because i already had a bad experience with same television company. Anyways. I had it preety clear from the start. So when i got the call, the agent told me that apart from hinges, the LED panel and the back body of the screen also has to be changed. And i knew that now they are trying this to get more money out of me. I mean why would you change the display of laptop when its working perfectly fine. I had my work going on it for like * months. But then he told me that the total cost will be **k - **k. And so i decided not to get it repaired there. When I went to pick the laptop up. I asked them to give me a written quotation of this expense. But they declined and said ki sir we will mail it to you. Which i haven't received yet. The agent and the engineer spoke to me and said ki the company is saying it won't get repaired without changing the display. Which I don't believe. He told me that there is a local shop nearby u might want to check it out there he can fix it for low charges. But i told ki whats the point of coming in to authorised service centre man. So there's that. And i am so unhappy with how they tried to literally get money out of their customer.
