The delivery agent by the name Laxman Attri who works for Delhivery couriers was supposed to pick up an order from my doorstep. I pay money for this service. The pick-up agent refused to come to my doorstep and asked me to bring my packages to a gate of my locality that was closed. I had to carry two big boxes of the packages that were supposed to be picked up by this agent to the gate because he refused to come to the address he was supposed to. He made remarks that the gate is closed and has a vehicle full of parcels which he cannot leave alone. Upon arriving his vehicle was not full of parcels. He lied. My father accompanied me and asked the agent why did he not come to the designated address for pick up upon which the pick-up agent was not only rude to me and my father, he argued and then threatened to get my company blocked by speaking to his manager. Excuse me? I pay so much money for this disgusting behaviour? One of the parcels this agent was carrying is now received by the customer and the item inside is broken. I do professional-grade packaging, with a lot of buffering inside to protect the pieces. There is no way the piece under any circumstances would have been broken. This was intentional. This agent not only cost me a valued customer but also money. Delhivery pick-up agents are one of the most unprofessional agents I've had to deal with compared to other courier services. My question to Delhivery is that are any background checks done before you go on hiring these rude agents who cost us money, time, our sense of peace and most importantly our valued customers. I see these pick-up agents throwing our packages like they are made of bricks no matter how many fragile stickers and tapes we use. Shameful and disgusting.
