icici bank - Defrauded by people presented as Mumbai police and CBI

On ** July, **** I was defrauded by few people who presented me as a Mumbai police and CBI officials. I was told my adhaar details are there with them gotten from some detained criminal in money laundering. They had Gained my trust by showing legal website with my adhaar and bank details and fraud me for * transactions (*,**,*** + *,**,***).
When I realised that it was a fraud, the same night I registered the FIR (FIR NO. ****/****, GSC No. PO*************) and complaint with the ICICI Bank ( SR*********).
I was given assurance that the money will be credited back to my account however it never happened.
On first week of September, I took an update from the phone banking, they told me the bank is not liable to credit this amount. Which was a setback for me.
How the bank have approved the transaction when the account name was wrong during the Transaction.
Also how they have my Aadhaar and account details?
