I had Purchased My premium HP laptop with high end specs.
I had to purchase the laptop immediately because my old laptop suddenly stopped working in the middle of the online exams and i needed an laptop urgently to appear for my online examinations. But next day before appearing for exams I saw that the display of the laptop screen was defective as it has screen bleeding issues. This issue is only visible in normal lighting conditions does not appear in daylight where there is too much light.
(BACKLIGHT BLEEDING ISSUE)
I reported the issue to the shopkeeper next day after purchasing the laptop and asked them to replace the Unit but they refused to do so and asked me to report the issue to the service center.
They said they would take my laptop for repair and fix the unit.
Since my exams were going on I could not afford to do so hence i waited for my exams to get over and finally after I complained to HP via whats app support and reported my issue.
They agreed to replace the display and i got an confirmation email stating that my laptop would be fixed in * days then.
But that did not happen and they changed the date saying due to pandemic everything is delayed and the next ETA was in August . The day when the part arrived the service guy came to change the display. But after they changed the display I saw that it had colour issue and display was very dim. Even after doing all the software updates and BIOS updates that the HP service guy had asked me to do so. I still faced the same issue. I repeated all the instructions again even formatted my PC as instructed by HP but nothing changed.
Also i was not able to change the brightness of the laptop from the dedicated function keys and along with that after they opened my system for repair thereafter one of the USB started to malfunction. My laptop started to have more problems after they opened my unit.
I reported the issue again in in HP service center this time.
They did not update me anything for almost about ** days after that i got an update that the previous display which was installed was wrong one and did not match with laptop's mother board and hence the part was ordered again.
But they did not pay any attention to the USB malfunction issue and only paid attention to the display issue. I even tried to report the issue to HP via voice call but they simply ignored the issue and just focused on display issue.
I got a call stating that my laptop is fixed and an engineer will deliver the laptop to my house. Then the engineer came to deliver the laptop but this time too the new display which was installed in the laptop was again faulty it had colour issue and also IN HP's tech support website it is mentioned that colour issue means the display is faulty and needs replacement. The engineer started arguing but when i asked them to compare it with the same specific model they kept silent . I asked them to come to the shop and said i will compare the laptop and show the defect. They said they would come with me but immeadiately then they said we have work sir and you go and compare the laptop and bring it to the service center. I immeadiately knew that something is wrong with the service center people.
Apart from that upon asking about the USB port issue they said that it will remain like that and started arguing but i some how forced them to take the laptop back.
Again I got a call from the service center and they are asking me to take the laptop like that.
But we argued again they said they will send the engineer again but as expected got no such response.
After my exams were over I had lot of projects and assignments to finish and prepare for exams for which i needed the laptop. Even after paying the sum of ***** rupees still I had to face such issue and the company took almost * months and till now no proper resolution has been provided and I asked them to provide me a spare laptop but they did not say anything and kept quiet. But i was helpless and had to borrow the laptop from my friend for few days but that did not work finally i had to ask laptop from a laptop rent shopkeeper and i pay montly dues for using the laptop. I constantly tried mailing the HP Service Head and Hp support they would just tell me to move from one place to another and therefore It was very disappointing for me. It was really a mental harassment for me and now i would not accept the laptop simply without getting any compensation. It was a very bad experience certainly never felt that i purchased a new laptop .I have mailed to the HP service head and to whomever they have asked me to do countless times but i have never heard and reply from them.
Whenever I would contact the HP via whats app for support I would get the same message daily that " The case has been transferred to the concerned/relevant team and a call back has been arranged please wait for **-** hours" " Be assured they will contact and help you". Next day when i ask them they would say the same answer. They are not able to fix the issue of my laptop since two months now and when I ask them to replace the laptop they keep silent and do not do anything about it.
I trusted HP and paid so much premium to the company but had to face so many issues.
I cannot afford the pay the monthly dues to the extra laptop i got. I am using my mobile phone do attend all the online classes and study. I had purchased this high end laptop for study purposes and also graphic designing. But since i do not have the laptop I had to drop out of the classes. What was point of pouring so much of money into company's pocket when they cannot provide good products and prompt service. The Display of the laptop has been changed twice but the issue is still there and nothing has changed.
I want them to replace the laptop and Pay compensation. I am highly disappointed by their poor service and if you try to contact them they would simply reply with the automated messages. If in two months they are not able to fix the unit then it must be replaced no matter what. By Paying ***** for a repaired quality laptop is very unjust. Its been two months and still now i have not recieved a proper resolution and i have'nt used in since i complained to HP. IF they are behaving like this now what will they after the warranty period finishes next year.
In this last two months i had to go through so much mental pressure just because of this laptop and there has been so much arguments in the family just because of the laptop.
I hope you can resolve my issue and provide me justice.
