In June, I encountered an issue with my car door latch and took my car to Komal Automobile near Khatai Naka, Dombivli. As I had to travel out of town for a month, the workshop team handed over the car to my wife after fixing the door latch problem. Since my wife is not familiar with driving, the car remained parked for the entire month.
When I returned in July and tried to start my car the next morning, I found that the battery was completely drained. I called the same workshop, and they came to jump-start the car. However, the next morning, the battery was dead again. Upon calling the workshop, they advised me that it could be a battery issue. I immediately replaced the battery with a new one, but on the third day, the new battery was also completely drained.
I called the workshop again, and they towed my car to their facility. After *-* days, they informed me that there was a current leakage, which was causing the battery to drain while the car was parked. I questioned how this issue could suddenly arise after the door latch repair. They kept the car for a few more days and then returned it to me, stating that they had directed the electrical connection.
Subsequently, I noticed that the car's AC was not functioning properly. I reported this to the same workshop and handed over my car for inspection. Komal Automobile kept my car for *-* days but could not resolve the issue.
I decided to take my car to a Ford Authorized workshop, but they refused to service it because an external team had made electrical wiring changes. On the same day, I booked an appointment and handed over my car to the Vashi GoMechanic workshop (New Shree Auto works). They diagnosed the issue in my presence and found that there was a current leakage while the car was in stop mode. They kept my car to identify the problem and provide an estimate.
After * days, I received an estimate from Mr. Pravin, stating that the inspection charges would be approximately INR ****. The actual cost and timeline would be determined after completing all diagnostics.
I have escalated this issue to the C team and have been waiting for a resolution for the past * days. I have escalated the issue to GoMechanic team and following up daily however, no respond or resolution from the team. I am dealing with the Komal Automobile from last * months and this has costed me money, stress and time.
I am attaching order details and bills; I have paid, and new estimated bill shared by the Vashi workshop due to new damaged happened due to wrong electrical changes done in my car without any authorization and communication.
Resolution I am looking forward to-
*. GoMechanic team take the entire ownership to fix my car problems caused due to improper electrical wire changes done in the car (customer will not pay any additional money for this work).
*. Compensate with INR ***** since this has given me mental trauma, expenses done to communicate using Uber, Ola and other transportation services.
*. Apology letter or email from GoMechanic not responding to my emails, calls after multiple follow-ups.
