On *nd August **** I chose Delhivery to deliver my Laptop to my relative. I have booked the delivery on Delhivery website and paid the amount Rs. *** for the delivery charge. On *th August, Delhivery executive arrived to pickup the package and said you will receive a mail with waybill no. and the status of the package cab be checked on Delhivery website. After that website was showing expected date of delivery by *th August ****. The package got delayed saveral times. Then at the end of August **** I mailed Delhivery asking the reason for delay. Delhivery replied saying -
As per our records, the shipment with AWB (*************) was marked as canceled hence returning back and cannot be re-arranged, as connected to the return center as its getting delayed due to some operational issue at the center.
We would request you to kindly allow us time ( * - * working days) so that we can resolve your concern at the earliest.
After this I waited for a week to receive my package back. But never received it. Then I agained mailed Delhivery asking for the return status and they replied -
Dear Ashutosh,
This is to inform you that your shipment AWB# ************* is lost in our network so we will initiate your refund as per our Terms and Conditions. Request you to please share the following details so we can remit the amount as per T&c.
So, now Delhivery is saying they will only refund **** for the laptop worth Rs. **,***.
I simply want my laptop back since it contains lots of personal data as well. THIS IS STRAIGHT ROBBERY BY DELHIVERY.
