I was admitted to my hospital for my delivery.
when we filed for my Mediclaim , star health called to enquire and rejected the claim at first as my claim was an individual claim and that I should have filed the same with my Husband for pregnancy - how delusional and backward are these guys at star health? however this got resolved - I delivered a healthy baby - but we were in covid hospital and also admitted for covid and pregnancy - on these grounds I should be eligible for both Covid and pregnancy as my policy covers both. But Star as repeatedly rejected my claim stating that as a covid positive paitent I should have been in Home Isolation to qualify for claim. During my pregnancy and about to deliver - STAR HEALTH expected me to be in home isolation to be eligible for my claim>.. putting my life and my baby's life in danger. they have failed to notify me anything about my claim. when we call - there is no one person handling the complaint. its been more than * months now and STAR HEALTH has still not corresponded any details on our query and has left the *st time policy usage experience being nothing but a nightmare. WORST MEDICAIM POLICY
