I have enrolled with Simplilearn.com last year in June month for the PGDA course by one of the business development persons. She has been so polite and convinced me to enroll with Simplilearn for this course saying I will be placed well once I finish this course since they have collaborated with Purdue University.
I have opted for EMI Rs ****/- per month as I could not afford that much money in one shot. My personal and official profile has been explained to the person and after so many calls and WhatsApp follow-ups, the course has been started with Simplilearn. ( I am still paying EMI by the way )
The course was a pre-planned one and not at all good for people who do not have a programming background. I had informed by the BDM many times on this, she has very conveniently convinced me saying the batch will have only people like me who do not have a programming background. but it is utterly wrong as people from the nonprogramming background will not be able to understand at all. The curriculum is designed in a manner to complete the course soon and people who have already experienced in the data science domain can understand. It is an online class where the participants can text the faculties via chatbox. If we ask more questions than the other students, the faculties will ask us to communicate via community link but they reply after * weeks which totally useless, like what's the point of replying to the old message when the requirement is fulfilled ( I have been disturbing my colleagues in data science team ). They have a pathetic customer service team ever seen in my experience. I got a proper response once, after that they reply and close the tickets on their own. Even now I did not get any response from the team for my email which they have bought time for * days but it's been * days no response yet.No no value for candidate's emotions who want to eagerly change their career.
The course has been finished in Jan. No calls, no emails, no notification until I sent an email for certification. Finally, I received my certification in April'** after so many follow-up calls and tickets raised by me.
After receiving the certificate I have approached customer service for job placement as committed by them in the beginning. They closed the ticket saying somebody from Job hiring team will call you in ** days. Nobody turned back as committed. I have sent an email again to customer service then I have received an email from iimjobs manager to send my profile. I have sent the same. No response after my email. I have again raised the ticket to Simplilearn on poor follow-up from iimjobs. After a month the manager from iim jobs emailed me saying I have to update my profile. He has taken a month time to open and check my PDF resume file. IImjobs seems to be the other job search website like Naukri, Shine, Monster, etc...I have joined Simplilearn to transform my career from whatever I am now to data scientist. Not to update my profile somewhere and get the same recommendations on what I am currently doing. Have raised many emails to Simplilearn, they bought time to resolve for * days to resolve this my issue, but none turned back even after follow-ups. I am totally fed up with this harassment from Simplilearn.
Being a single parent it is so hard for me to digest that I have spent so much money for nothing in return in the name of career transformation.
I wanted to update one more thing here on charging students. I spoke to a few of the students who have joined Simplilearn with me. They have paid only **k for the same course that I have joined whereas I have paid Rs *,**,***/-. I really do not understand why is the biased way of collecting fees.
Requesting you to sort this out and get my money back. it is totally a forgery. Please help me to come out of this and get my money back. I do not want to lose further my peace, time, and money on this useless website and their customer service team.
