I really enjoy shopping with Big Bazar. I was not aware of this before but later I came to know that consumer court said- "No one can charge for the Bags". Last time I visited Big Bazar in Mahagun Metro Mall, Vaishali, Ghaziabad and In the billing counter the person asked me, Sir, Do you need a bag? I said Yes, He said okay. I asked him Is it free now? He looked at me and said why? I told him about the consumer court Order. He said no, you have to pay ** INR for the bag. I had no choice that's why I paid.
Later I took the picture of the Slip and bag and moved to consumer forum.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
