I have bought "Audio-Technica AT**** Cardioid Condenser Studio Microphone" with order no ***-*******-******* on * Nov **** from Amazon India.
I have used my ICICI credit card and the Transaction ID/SerNo is **********. Money Paid after discounts to Amazon is ****.**.ICICI statement is available to me.
Amazon sent me a broken light bulb inside the package. Amazon has cheated in nearly similar ways to at least * other customers. Snip from amazon seller rating attached.
After my investigation, i found that the seller is a new seller at Amazon and the first negative review was available against the seller was on Nov *th **** i.e after i bought the product.
The seller cannot be found anymore at amazon.
The invoice given to me available at the amazon website if investigated properly will reveal a lot of discrepancies. The seller has not deducted any GST and provided a GST invoice.
The GST number as per the amazon invoice "**BAHPP****C*Z*" belongs to seller Punit Medical Agency original owner Mr Punit and his brother does not have any contact with Amazon and they told that they have not sold this item.
The HSN code provided in the GST bill also seems to be fake when I searched in the HSN portal of India.
Phone numbers of seller Punit medical that amazon did not provide in the invoice are ********** and **********.
The address provided in an invoice is wrong. The original address is M/S Punit Medical Agency, * Marla Colony, Fathebad, Haryana-******.
Amazon sent me an empty invoice. I have shared pictures of the item with Amazon. After i received the item, i was a bit sceptical about opening the package.
So, i did not open the entire package and called amazon and told them that you better send someone to open the package as i have doubts about the content inside.
Amazon told me that i should not worry as they will help me in case i get any issues and that i should open the item myself. So, i made an unpacking video of the item and
then opened to find a broken bulb inside. I shared all pictures, video with amazon. After repeated escalation to the highest level known after a google search, they simply denied a refund.
I have wasted many days to find out that Amazon has cheated its many customers who were also complaining in similar ways under the seller review section, and after making it very clear to amazon that they were at fault,
Amazon did not even care to look at my emails. Amazon simply wrote that my emails will not be entertained and their decision not to refund is final.
My investigation led to finding out serious loopholes from the amazon side and Indian consumers will be severely impacted if these things continue.
Since I have wasted my very productive time doing all sorts of investigations to find out amazon faults, i not only demand my money back with credit card interest till amazon pays me back( because i paid through credit card) , I also demand compensation of Rs **,***.
Any additional expenses that may be incurred to make amazon pay back the money because of this serious offence to multiple customers should be also borne by Amazon.
