I have ordered three books from this company called ChapterOne Books. I ordered the first * books on October *th of ****. The titles of the books being 'The Lost Apothecary - Sarah Penner' which they sold for a discounted price of Rs.*** and 'Gods and Monsters - Shelby Mahurin' for a price of Rs.***. Since then I have received only one book which is 'The Lost Apothecary'. The book 'Gods and Monsters was a procurement title which they said would take around **-** weeks for delivery. Now it's been more than a year.
I ordered the third book titled 'Tenant of Wildfell Hall-Chiltern Classic Edition' for a price of Rs.**** on October **th of ****. I quickly realized that I could get the book for a better deal elsewhere and asked them to cancel the order since it wasn't processed yet. Again they refused to cancel my order and give me a refund. Even as I'm writing this complaint this order has not been processed.
I have texted them through their customer service portals and also filed several tickets and complaints. Each time that they send a response, it's filled with excuses and reasons as to why they could not fulfil the order and delivery.
All three of the books were supposed to be gifts for myself and a friend to celebrate a special achievement. I couldn't even buy from somewhere else because ChapterOne Books refuses to refund my money. I'm tired of being taken advantage of and I've been very patient with them. They don't know how to retain and provide good service for customers.
I don't know who else to reach out to because I don't have a big social media following and they wouldn't take me seriously. I have lost an amount of Rs.**** which the company refuses to refund. I would appreciate any help I can get.
