Resolution Demanded:
I have bought Dell G* laptop in Aug ****.
*: After using for few weeks , suddenly speakers started making weird noise. I contacted their support where I was direct to install some new drivers. After installing my laptop suddenly stoped working. Then they told that my OS crashed anyhow, and all my important data and files are gone. The point is, they did not even warn me before directing for driver installation. They said that it was uncommon to lose data but it was what it was. They suggested me to visit a local dell authorised service center for possible data recovery but it didn’t happen as well. My data was very important which I lost due to there carelessness.
*: Not only data I’ve also lost my MS Office Student pack, which I received with the product. Dell keep saying that Microsoft will provide, and Microsoft keep saying that It is not mentioned on your bill. However it is mentioned on Dell’s website, but they denied to write it on my bill.
*: Since that time I started facing some other issues as well, like sudden display blur, suddenly turn off, automatically restarting. I complained about that issue and was told they are not founding any problems in their system analysis, so i was instructed to collect proof of the issue. After sending the proofs they told that some parts need to be change in my laptop. But again they told that they are not having the required parts currently. So they are now saying thay they will provide me some other REFURBISHED laptop in exchange or I have to wait till the parts come in stock.
I am a Post graduation student in a government college. I failed my exam due to this my laptop issue and my next exams are also scheduled from **th of sep.
I’ve told the the situation and asked then few questions, which I’m mentioning below. But every time they gave me the same response thay I have only these two options(to wait or to accept old Refurbished laptop in exchange) and not answering my questions.
During the tough time of COVID** , when classes and work are happening from home, it seems like a torture to me. I’ve already suffered a lot due to these problems, and not getting any help from any where.
I will provides all the records like mail, photos, videos. Please help me out.
The questions and demand That I’ve mailed them multiple times(more then three) is mentioned below-
Please answer some of my concerns in details-
*: Who is responsible for the inconvenience and the losses that I have faced already?
*: Who will be liable for the losses that I’ll face in the case of non availability of my laptop (as you told **-** days)?
*: If I’ll get a ‘refurbished’ laptop in exchange, it itself meant that laptop was faulty once. How can I trust Dell with a refurbished system, when a new one is causing that much trouble?
What I demand(need reply on these points as well)
*: Exchange my laptop with a new one.
*: Or, repair it in such a way that I’ll not face such issues later.
*: Provide the name, who is responsible for the losses/inconvenience, which I have incurred.
