Sveta Menon filed complaint against Travel Bay Tours on Apr 20, 2023
On the *th of October ****, I bought business class return tickets for * (two) persons through “Travel Bay Tours” Agency. We used the one-way segment.
On the *th of December **** (* days before the return trip), we changed our plans and chose a different route to come back to India, hence on the *th of December I requested Travel Bay Tours to cancel my return trip and initiate the refund. I intended to keep the returned funds at the Agency for further use, but * (three) months later I realised that I was not going to use tickets in that segment in the near future.
On the *th of March ****, I requested the Agency to refund the money paid for the tickets, that we will never get to use, back to my account, but they started to forward me messages from an unknown third-party Agency saying that the funds had not yet been returned.
I spoke with the Airways representative directly and found out that until today nobody had applied for a refund for the mentioned tickets.
Today is **th April ****, and Travel Bay Tours Agency is still forwarding me messages from unknown parties claiming that there is no money to return. But they haven't even attempted to contact the airline directly to follow up on this case.
