I called on Amar car agency for servicing of my vhicle on *st sept **** and my My Vehicle GJ ** FC **** was picked up on September *nd, ****, for servicing through your pickup service. The vehicle was driven by their personnel, yet I was later informed that it was in a flooded condition upon its arrival at their showroom. I clarified that the vehicle had been parked at my residence during the flood period, as I was out of town, and there was no flooding in our area.
Upon my visit to the showroom on September *th, I was given a new explanation: the car required head work, and I was told the repair would take two weeks, costing approximately Rs.**,***. I agreed to proceed with the repairs, with the condition that I to be provided with an exact estimate once the work commenced, and I also made an advance payment of Rs. *,***.
From September **th onwards, I continuously followed up regarding the status of my vehicle, only to be informed that more time was needed. Finally, after persistent follow-ups, on October **th, I received a call stating that the vehicle was ready, and the total cost was Rs. **,*** approx. I informed your team that I would collect the vehicle on October **th and requested that all procedures should be completed and the vehicle should be fully serviced by then.
Upon my arrival at the showroom on October **th, after a long wait, I was shown my car. The condition of the vehicle was alarming – hoses appeared to have been replaced, but the engine was dirty, and it looked untouched. During the test drive, the vehicle stalled due to a battery that was in dead condition, which their team acknowledged but did nothing to fix. Despite this, I was forced to take the car, at around *pm I left the showroom and experienced engine warning lights shortly after driving * km. After calling the service engineer, I was assured the problem would resolve after driving a few more kilometers, which it did not.
Worse, upon reaching home, I noticed liquid leaking from the engine. I immediately called their service engineer, shared a video of the issue via WhatsApp, and requested urgent attention. I had already paid ₹**,*** for this poor-quality service, and I am extremely frustrated by the inconvenience and additional costs this has caused me, including ₹**,*** in taxi fares during the extended service period.
I was supposed to use the vehicle for an important official trip to Kutch, from **th Oct but due to their team's negligence, I now have to hire another vehicle. Despite being told that my car would be picked on **th Oct morning for further service, I have received no updates and till date my car is in same condition.
