icici bank - Fraud by Insurance Policy

Sir, I purchase a home & takes loan from ICICI bank. with this home loan bank forced for insurance policy, first i was deny, but banker says if u don't want policy you can cancel it any time, with this advise i agree for policy, after * to ** days i have request them for cancellation of policy, the bank manager was suggested me that if i dont need policy then i stop to pay the policy EMI, it will automatically cancelled & no any documents provided by bank related to policy till date. many times i visit to bank for know my status of policy but no any person ready to help me, after completion of * years today bank sent me a legal notice for pay my all dues otherwise he takes possesion of my house.
Sir i request u to please help me....
