    प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना (PMJJBY) एक प्रकार का टर्म इंश्योरेंस प्लान है | इस टर्म प्लान में निवेश करने के बाद अगर व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हो जाती है तो उसके परिवार को 2,00,000 रुपये मिलते है |

    टर्म प्लान का मतलब है जोखिम से सुरक्षा | इसमें अगर पॉलिसीधारक की मौत हो जाती है तो Insurance Company बीमा की रकम का भुगतान उसके परिवार को करती है | अगर पॉलिसीधारक निर्धारित समय तक ठीक-ठाक रहता और उसकी मौत नहीं होती है तो इसका लाभ उसको नहीं मिलता है |

    प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना (PMJJBY) में आपको प्रतिवर्ष 330 रुपये जमा करने होते है | यह साल में एक बार जमा करना होता है | जिसकी अवधि 1 जून से लेके 31st मई तक होती है |

    प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना (PMJJBY) में किसी भी अवस्था में बीमाधारक की मुत्यु हो जाती है चाहे वह दुर्घटना या किसी भी कारण से हो, तो बीमाधारक के परिवार वाले को 2 लाख रुपये तक की सहायता दी जाएगी |

    Timeline:

    Mr. Darshan Kumar M Patel visited our portal on November 25th, 2018 at 04:13 pm and filed a complaint against OYO rooms related to online hotel booking issue. Mr. Patel was facing some issues with the cancellation of his hotel booking with OYO. On the very same day at 09:08 pm he got the resolution and marked his complaint as resolved.

    A brief look into the travel complaint

    Our client Mr. Patel made a hotel booking through OYO rooms. Later on, the booking was somehow canceled by OYO itself. He paid an amount of Rs 2950 and asked for its refund. The OYO representative told our client that the amount is non-refundable, but it can be adjusted in the next booking. So, Mr. Patel made another booking for Rs. 2970 as he had no other option. He paid an extra amount of Rs. 20 for the new booking, and the amount was adjusted.

    Then there were some changes in our client’s plan, so he had to cancel the booking by his side but this time team OYO told him that neither he will get the refund nor the amount could be adjusted. This incident was shocking for our client as he was a regular user of OYO app and didn’t expect such a bad experience.

    The resolution provided by us

    After trying several times to find a solution on this matter, Mr. Patel did not receive any resolution. He came to our consumer complaint forum and filed a complaint against OYO rooms. Out of our four services, Mr. Patel chose to send emails to the company to solve his problem. As per his request, we sent an email to the company, and within 5 hours the complaint was resolved. Mr. Patel called the OYO customer care once again and received the resolution for his complaint.

    Timeline:

    On November 9th, 2018 at 1:40 pm Mr. Prabhakar Chaturvedi filed a complaint at our portal against Flipkart. When we received the complaint, immediate actions were called regarding this issue. We sent an email to the company and started a social media campaign. After a few days on November 21st, 2018 at 12:01 pm Mr. Chaturvedi again visited our portal and marked the complaint as resolved.

    A brief look into the complaint

    Mr. Prabhakar purchased a “Lyf Water 7” mobile phone from Flipkart on 26th May 2018 at 6:05 pm. The mobile phone was successfully delivered at his address but a few months later the phone showed some technical issues. Mr. Chaturvedi got worried when his mobile phone completely stopped working. He went to the nearest service center and found that the mobile set which was delivered to him by Flipkart was a second handset. Our client was upset with this fact that when he paid for a brand new phone why he received a used one. Neither Lyf nor Flipkart provided any solution to our client to resolve this problem. So he came to our consumer complaint forum to file a complaint against Flipkart. Mr. Chaturvedi did not want to lose his hard earned money to any kind of frauds so he came to us to find a resolution for him regarding this issue.

    Resolution provided by us

    After trying several times to find a solution on this matter, Mr. Chaturvedi filed a complaint at our portal on 9th November 2018. As soon as we received the complaint, we started the social media campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We also sent an email to Flipkart seeking a resolution on this complaint. On 21st of November, 2018 Mr. Chaturvedi visited our portal himself and marked his complaint as resolved.

    This bar graph depicts the most reported consumer complaints. ‘Damaged/No product delivered’ accounts for more than 23% of the entire complaints filed on Voxya. ‘No refund initiated’ or ‘Promised return not given’ comes in at second place with nearly 14% consumers reporting this issue.

    No refund/cashback received is the second most talked about an issue by consumers on Voxya, an online consumer forum. Unsurprisingly, most e-commerce consumer complaint about this issue as it accounts for a total of more than 75%. Bank customers, as well as travel customers, also face the same issue as it accounts for a combined total of nearly 13%. Only a small minority from the Real Estate complain about this issue.
