Eternal Limited Zomato - Zomato provided incomplete order and poor quality food offered only 400 refund even after consumer c

I placed food order ID ********** through Zomato from “Shankar Dhaba Pavitra Bhojanalaya, Jaipur”. The order had serious issues including a missing item and extremely poor/unhygienic food quality.

I immediately contacted Zomato support and shared screenshots and proof regarding the missing item and poor food quality. Since proper resolution was not provided, I also filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH).

Even after the consumer complaint and submission of evidence, Zomato only offered a partial refund of ₹*** against the total order value of ₹***, which is not a satisfactory resolution considering the order was incomplete and the food quality was unacceptable.

Zomato further stated that food preparation and packaging are handled by the restaurant partner. Therefore, both Zomato and the restaurant “Shankar Dhaba Pavitra Bhojanalaya, Jaipur” are responsible for deficiency in service and unfair consumer treatment.

The food was not fit for proper consumption and caused inconvenience during my travel stay. Despite evidence and escalation through consumer channels, proper refund and resolution were denied.

I request:

*. Appropriate action against the restaurant for poor food quality and incomplete order delivery.
*. Appropriate action against Zomato for inadequate resolution even after consumer complaint escalation.
