Tata Cliq Voltas refridgerator - Wrong product sent

I am cursing myself on the fact that I bought a product from Tata cliq , i opted and paid for a * star refridgerator.. instead they sent me a * star rating product, I tried contacting their customer sevice however the the IVR said that I wil get a call back, got a call back after * hrs, but nobody spoke.... I waited for *-* minutes however nobody uttered even a single word.

Continuing with my agony I wrote on social media platform, post taking my order number the only thing what I have is that you will look into this.

A lady Ms. Bhagwat called me from tatacliq and tried to explain me that as it's a year **** product, the star rating has been revised to * from * and the technical specification remains same..


To my shock ..the highest level of making someone fool was tried to be achieved when Ms. Bhagwat mentioned that it's clearly mentioned on the website that it's a * star rated product if its of **** period.. I was completely astonished, as she told me, I checked the details on your portal and she was right it mentioned * star..

By God's grace, I was fortunate enough that I saved a screenshot of the product before buying it. It nowhere mentioned that it's a * star product it clearly said it's a * star fridge , nowhere mentioned about **** or ** story.

Their team changed the description of the product post I highlighted the complaint to them.. they completely tried to mislead me by giving false information by changing the details on their website.


Star rating was the topmost criteria because of which I chose to buy the product.... And instead of admitting to have done the fraud..the lady from their team knitted a nice colourful story with pre scripted verbatim..

When they did not have any reply.. they offered me a ** % refund, I wanted atleast **% .. but the things settled at **% I also thought not to make them more embarrassed.. they sent me that amount in tatacliq wallet so that I can use it to buy something.. I bought couple of things and ordered from tatacliq using wallet.. but later I found those things selling at a cheaper price on some other portal.. I decided to cancel the orders I placed.. I cancelled them but haven't got any refund in my wallet against it.. and they are also silent on that now.. please help
