I had a terrible experience with Sweet Karam Coffee. I ordered through their app on a Saturday, and while my payment was debited, the unreliable app provided no confirmation for an hour. When it finally appeared, it showed an incorrect address.
Their support is unavailable on weekends, and their policy only allows address changes via call or email within a short window—which is impossible when they are unreachable. I only received a reply after commenting on their Instagram. Although they claimed to update the address, they refused to provide any proof. Two days later, I received shipping details with an incorrect pincode.
When I called customer care, the agent was dismissive and unprofessional, even stating he would hang up before eventually disconnecting mid-conversation. They finally recreated the order with the correct address after I mentioned involving National Consumer Helpline, but the new order has a lower quantity and total value than what I actually paid for.
Their grievance officer, Sathya, offered excuses about power outages and courier errors, but it was clearly their negligence and incompetence. These are deceptive practices—first with a malfunctioning app, then by denying their mistakes, and now by shortchanging my order quantity. I have filed a consumer grievance and will hold them accountable on every platform.
