Viacom Trade & Commerce Private Limited - Voot select forgery

This is regarding the case for Voot app
I had paid ***Rs for Voot select subscription for a year , theirs no mention of Voot app will not work with Esim on my ios device in the TnC while purchasing the same. But later while contacted them to Voot team over mail they are saying the app will not work over Esim and they are looking for ways to resolve this . So my concerns are:

*-they should have mentioned the same while in TnC section for consumers for transparency
*-what if me not having an alternate WiFi /dongle then my money paid is going into Toss
