Hero company - Urgent Complaint Regarding Negligent Service at Puducherry Hero Service Center

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your authorized Hero service center in Puducherry on December **th. My bike, registration number PY**CY****, was brought in for a general service on this date.

During the service, I specifically raised concerns about my bike not running smoothly. Despite this, the service center staff failed to adequately address the issue. They informed me about the need for an engine oil change, which was performed, but neglected to mention or address the gear oil. I was also assured that the issue causing the bike's rough running was resolved, which proved to be untrue.

On **-**-****, my bike completely broke down in the middle of the road, leaving me stranded. Upon inspection by another mechanic, it was discovered that there is water inside the gearbox. I want to emphasize that I have not had my bike washed externally since the service on December **th, and the only water exposure it has had was during the general service itself. This strongly suggests the water entered the gearbox during the service at your Puducherry center.

When I contacted the service center about this breakdown, their response was dismissive. They simply asked me to bring the bike back, rather than acknowledging any potential responsibility for the issue. The owner of the service center was equally unhelpful, refusing to acknowledge any fault on their part and offering only excuses. He even stated he did not care about my loss of trust in their service and that I could complain wherever I wanted.

I am deeply concerned by the negligence and unprofessional conduct displayed by the Puducherry service center. Their failure to properly diagnose and fix the initial problem, coupled with the apparent introduction of water into the gearbox during the service, has resulted in significant inconvenience and expense for me. I now face the cost of repairs for damage that appears to have been directly caused by their substandard service.

I request your urgent intervention in this matter. I expect a thorough investigation into the service provided on December **th and appropriate action taken against the responsible parties at the Puducherry service center. Furthermore, I believe I am entitled to compensation for the damages caused to my bike as a direct result of their negligence.

I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.
