Pranil Warulkar filed complaint against Zepto on Aug 3, 2025
I had ordered cranberry juice from Zepto on *rd August **** at **:** AM. When I checked the product later, I found that its seal was already broken, it was half empty, and it had a bad smell. I immediately requested an exchange. However, when the delivery person came for the exchange, he said it couldn't be taken back and asked me to raise a request again the next day.
I did as told and raised the exchange request again the next day, but the delivery person again refused to take it back. When I tried to speak to their manager, he simply said they can’t accept the product and disconnected the call without listening to me.
I regularly consume cranberry juice because I occasionally suffer from UTI. I am also a doctor, and I can confidently say that Zepto is playing with people’s health. It’s not about the money—it’s about health and safety. If someone consumes this tampered product, it could cause serious food poisoning. Who will be responsible then?
The government should take strict action and even consider banning companies like Zepto for such negligence. This is clear fraud. They don’t care about customer health, only profit. Even after delivering a used and unsafe product, they refused to exchange it or address the issue properly.
I only asked for a simple exchange, but they showed no responsibility. I urge everyone not to order from Zepto. And if you do, please make sure to check if the product seal is intact—because this company delivers tampered or used products and refuses to take any responsibility.
Zepto is a clear fraud company.
