Air 2 Asia Travel And Tours Private Limited - Unnecessary harrassment of passengers by Air Asia

*th Sep ** I had a harrowing experience with Air Asia.. in fact the CISF guy at the Airport said that the Airlines like Air Asia are harassing their passengers at the last moment by canceling or rescheduling flights and returning passengers with some pretext or the other..

We were scheduled to travel to Kolkata from Chennai on flight No I*-*** scheduled on **.** *th September. On the same in the morning one of my colleague went back to Kolkata from Chennai and her fully vaccinated report was good enough for her to travel back to Kolkata. She traveled with Spice Jet.

Yesterday another * colleagues of mine had a flight at *.** PM with Spice Jet to Kolkata and that flight got canceled for some reason and rescheduled on *th morning.. Now when we the passengers of Air Asia went (*.**PM) inside for boarding they started asking for RTPCR report for traveling to Kolkata inspite they have issued us on line boarding pass without any confirmation of RTPCR report availability with passenger.. Invariably none of the passengers had RTPC as all are fully vaccinated themselves and as per Govt's latest circular fully vaccinated people dont need any other report. When passengers had asked for next day's tickets they flatly asked them to come back next day and assured them that will issue tickets on the old boarding pass itself. However selectively on demand and negotiation they have issued one ticket to Mr Ravi Jaiswal as he was adamant. It seems that Air Asia had over booked or sold few tickets additionally at a higher prices and refused the rest on the pretext of RTPCR report at the last moment..

People were totally harassed and had to book night stay, travel back and forth, people with medical emergency could not travel, and on the top of it they had asked for RTPCR report, which means additional expenses of Rs *** each. And right now * of my colleagues whose flight got rescheduled (Spice Jet) boarded the flight to Kolkata and no one asked to them produce any RTPCR report.

Other than mental harrassment, loss of weekend, anguish of my aged dad of ** yrs at home, I had to spent money of hotel, taxi travel, food and to get medical report which was unnecessary as I am fully vaccinated and no one is asking for the same.

This is a total negligence and apathy towards passengers at last moment and total harrassment.. kindly look into this urgently.
