Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - Unfair Treatment by University Regarding Examination

I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of utmost importance regarding the unfair treatment faced by the participants of the Smart India Hackathon **** from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi -******.
Our team, which was selected among the top five teams to compete in the Grand Finale of the Hardware Edition of Smart India Hackathon, faced an unfortunate situation upon our return. We had received prior consent from our department, the University Registrar and the examination cell that an arrangement would be made for us to conduct our External Viva Exams which was falling in between the Hackathon dates. However, upon inquiry we came to know that the examination cell has arbitrarily mandated that all team members must undertake supplementary papers at the conclusion of our degree programs. Consequently, our current mark sheets would inaccurately reflect failure in the respective Practical Exams. This decision places our team in a precarious position, particularly impacting the job prospects of two members who are in their final year of M.Tech.
