Bombay Education Society and Barnes School and Junior College DevlaliNashik Dist Maharashtra - Unfair dismissal
Eugene Gerald Roscoe filed complaint against Bombay Education Society and Barnes School and Junior College DevlaliNashik Dist Maharashtra on Jul 26, 2021
I am being unfairly dismissed because I raised my voice against being victimised and bullied by the Principal of Barnes School and Junior College. I am an Australian Citizen holding an OCI. I was employed by the Bombay Education Society first in Christ Church School, Mumbai as Deputy Principal in their international section(IGCSE and IBDP) for ** months and then transferred to Barnes School and Junior College as Vice Principal(Boarding , Admissions and HOD English ) on contract till **st March ****. From the outset the Principal made it very clear that he did not want me in the school and isolated me from meetings and general functioning of the school. He insisted that I pay for breakfast even though my contract specifically offered me free meals during term. He wrote and told me breakfast was not included in free meals. Later he informed me that I would have to pay for all meals as the school was in a dire financial condition. When I refused to pay for my meals he terminated my services. When I protested to the Board of Directors, I was informed that the Principal's authority was paramount and his decision stands. Now I am being threatened with eviction and I have to return to Australia which is very difficult as there are no flights from India except repatriation flights and there is a long queue for seats. I need help.
