I stayed at Colive Adelaide_***, located in Bangalore, and my stay duration was just * months. At the time of booking, it was clearly mentioned that only ₹*,*** would be deducted as separation charges upon ending the stay. However, Colive has deducted a huge and completely unjustified amount during the final settlement.
Here are the concerning details:
They deducted ₹*,*** as electricity charges, even though my monthly bills were consistently below ₹*,*** during my stay. This charge is inflated without any supporting breakdown.
An excessive amount of ₹**,*** has been charged under “Repairs and Maintenance”, without any explanation. There was no damage or misuse of the property from my side, and I returned the room in good condition.
Despite the communication clearly stating only ₹*,*** as separation charges, the final deductions totalled ₹**,***, and I received a refund of only ₹*,*** out of my initial deposit. This is completely unethical for a short *-month stay.
Even worse, I have raised multiple complaints and support tickets, but Colive has failed to provide any detailed explanation. Most of my tickets were automatically closed without resolution. I also tried contacting their customer care number multiple times, but no one answered.
This seems like a deliberate attempt to mislead and overcharge tenants. If Colive intended to levy such high extra charges, why did they specifically mention ₹*,*** as the only separation charge at the time of booking?
The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and arbitrary deductions have caused me serious financial loss and stress. I request immediate attention and investigation into this matter, and urge the relevant authorities to hold Colive accountable for such unfair practices.
