*. On ** March **** at *:** PM, Guardian paid ₹**,*** ( Thirty three Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Three) online UPI PhonePe to Sorting Hat Technologies Pvt.Ltd.(Unacademy) in Nexus Legend Batch for IIT JEE coaching to enroll his son.
*. The sales executive, Mr. Amit Kumar,(Mob.no.- **********, email : kumar.amit**@unacademy.com) falsely promised that the he would get live interaction facility with microphone voice participation during online class which later was found to be untrue.
*. Prior to enrollment, my family was harassed with too much calls daily between ** AM and * PM, including abusive language directed at Guardian ‘s wife for delay in enrollment.
*. The invoice included **% GST, but no bifurcation of charges or explanation was given at the time of payment.
*. The invoice was generated in student’s name, but login access was linked to guardian ‘s mobile number and company email ID.
*. After receiving payment, Mr. Amit Kumar stopped answering calls and refused to process a refund despite repeated emails.
Grounds for Complaint
- Misrepresentation of services
- Harassment and abusive conduct by sales executive.
- Deficiency in service and lack of transparency in billing.
- Unfair refusal of refund despite failure to deliver promised features
