Motorola Service Center - Unable to claim under warranty

Mobile: Motorola g* just *.* months old.
While using the mobile got overheated and the display started forming lines and a small crack inside the display.
I went to service centre and they are telling physical damage. Externally not even a single scratch on mobile they are telling internal physical damage how can I do that. Now they are asking **** to repair that the mobile cost is only *****. It should be done under warranty.
