Prashanth Mascarenhas filed complaint against STOWD on Mar 12, 2022
STOWD is Storage service which provides service for packing, storage and delivering back the products.
I, Prashanth have started STOWD service in February ****. I have paid the initial packing cost, Storage charge and continued the rent service until February ****, when I decided to retrieve back the goods.
I was informed that the TV is mis-placed and will be delivered within a week, so I was ok to get other goods as delivery on Feb **th ****. But as the days passed the response from STOWD team was not clear and unprofessional. I had to escalate it, when I got an offer for *.*k rs for missing/stolen TV.
First-of-all, TV missing from Storage is not at all expected and it stands against the company’s policy. I had bought this TV as my first TV and have my emotions attached.
I have already informed to Karthikeyan (Co-founder) on my needs that I would need the compensation money as stated in the Relief section or provide me the same TV with additional compensation mentioned. I have also turned down the offer from STOWD of *,***rs/- first and then **,***rs/ and then finally **,***rs/- . I wouldn’t be able to accept such a low price for **,***rs TV (MRP) and informed Karthikeyan (Co-founder of STOWD) and he agrees that I can go to court to get my voice heard by the honorable members.
I hope to get justice from the misuse of the service from STOWD.

Current TV Price: Rs **,***/- + Complete TV Protection: Rs *,***/-
HDMI cable was in the TV box: Rs *,***/-
Compensation for Mental/Emotional impact: Rs *,***/-
Total: Rs **,***/-
