M S Trekveda Owner Atul Kumar - Travel Services not Provided

I recently paid Rs. **,*** to Trekveda, a travel agent based in Dehradun, to arrange for an Amarnath Yatra package for me. Unfortunately, Trekveda, whose owner is Mr. Atul Kumar and associate Mr. Ashish, has provided absolutely NO services in this regard.

I did indeed complete an Amarnath Yatra in July, but this was entirely owing to the efforts and services of Mr. Amir Bashir of Namariq Tour and Travels, Srinagar. Namariq was referred to me by Mr. Atul Kumar on the eve of my departure to Srinagar.

Needless to say, although I did have a successful yatra, I was put through weeks of uncertainty, confusion and concern, not to mention my monetary loss.

There is no indication that Mr. Atul Kumar will repay me the Rs. **,***. Further, an examination of comments on the internet from other travelers and customers indicates that Trekveda has behaved in a similar manner on numerous other occasions. (See note below.)

I urge disciplinary and punitive action against Trekveda, Mr. Atul Kumar and Mr. Ashish, to redress the fraud on me and to prevent further harassment, disruption and monetary loss to other travelers.




Note: I was aware of these adverse customer comments prior to my payment to Trekveda. When I asked them about it, they alleged that the comments were posted by jealous competitors, and that they indeed provided stellar service. Unfortunately, their statements proved to be as fraudulent as their actions.

Evidence: I can provide proof of payment. Also Mr. Amir Bashir of Namariq can attest to the non-performance of any service by Trekveda.
