Mr. Poddar,
I along with my husband availed travel package from your this company for our honeymoon to Italy, from **.**.**** to **.**.****.They a total of Rs.*,**,*** for the package with booking ID.**** While we were in Italy, the Coronavirus scare escalated and we learnt that Turkish Airlines had suspended all its flight operations and so we could not fly back on **.**.****. We cancelled half of our trip and took another flight (Alitalia) on **.**.**** to New Delhi for which we paid separately to the company for booking two return tickets.
Later, when we contacted the travel Company office for a refund of the cancelled original return ticket of **.**.**** (Turkish Airlines), we were asked to contact the Airlines directly and avail the refund.
It was only in September that we got a reply from the airlines office saying they had already refunded the amount to the travel company on **.**.****.
This information was hidden from us when we approached the company. Neither did the company refund the amount of the cancelled return ticket to us nor did it inform about the refund made by hotels in Venice and Florence for the bookings that were cancelled for (period between **.**.****-**.**.****).
They owe us refund of * return tickets as well as hotel refund of two destinations (Florence and Venice)
There is no response from the company on this. They have cheated us.
