I am a policyholder of Tata AIG Motor Insurance.

An accident occurred on ** June **** at approximately *:** PM on Swami Vivekanand Road, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai.

An auto-rickshaw travelling ahead braked suddenly to pick up a passenger. A carrier bike applied sudden brakes and made contact with the front portion of my vehicle. Immediately thereafter, a scooter travelling behind was unable to stop in time and impacted the rear corner portion of my vehicle.

As a result of the same incident, my vehicle sustained both front and rear damage.

During the claim process, multiple surveyor assignment communications were received. Despite repeated attempts to contact the assigned surveyor, there was no meaningful response or clarification regarding the assessment.

Subsequently, I was informed that only front bumper paint had been approved while the rear bumper damage was considered unrelated to the accident.

No survey report, assessment sheet, survey photographs, technical findings, or written justification have been provided to support this conclusion.

Further, my vehicle is protected with full-body Paint Protection Film (PPF). Prior to policy issuance, I specifically sought clarification regarding coverage under the Non-Electrical Accessories cover and received written confirmation from the selling representative that PPF was covered. However, no clarification has been provided regarding whether the installed PPF was inspected, assessed, or considered during claim processing.

I have formally escalated the matter to Tata AIG, the Grievance Redressal Team, Tata Motors Insurance representatives, and Regent Tata and have received acknowledgement of my complaint.

I am seeking transparency, a fair reassessment of the claim, and disclosure of the documents relied upon while arriving at the current claim decision.
