Bhagyashree Nahata filed complaint against Talwalkars on May 12, 2021
Hi,
I had ** months left in my gym membership before Talwalkars - Vile Parle East, shutdown for business. i took the membership on **th February **** and have done the workout for only ** days whereafter since **th March **** there was nationwide lock down due to corona virus pandemic. When i came to check the Gym status on **th August ****, i found a notice stuck on the main door which says "DUE TO NON PAYMENT OF DUES BY TALWAKARS BETTWE VALUE FITNESS LTD THIS FACILITY IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED AS PER THE LAW. BY ORDER".
There's no way for me to communicate with anyone to negotiate a refund. They intentionally took members in knowing that they will run out of business soon.
This a fraud case where the gym operators intentionally took in new members fully knowing that they will be unable to provide the services to workout for the whole year. The staff on the front desk needs to be called in for questioning.
I would like to recover my hard earned money back.
