Sony Bravia 65 inch LED TV - Supply of Poor quality Sony TV

We bought a Sony Bravia ** inch TV of model*K UHD LED KD **X**K on ** . **.** from Vijay Sales Hauz Khas , New Delhi, which was delivered on
** . **.** and installed in October **. Within a few weeks of working the TV suddenly stopped responding I.e. there was no switching on /off of the TV despite all checks , no light was seen on the on /off display. A complaint was lodged on December ** , ****, and technician visited from a franchise organization of Sony. After opening and checking the unit the technician declared that an electronic component (mother board) was not functioning and needed replacement and it would take a couple of days to repair. However even after repeated enquiries and requests the part was finally procured and replaced after a delay of almost a month in January ****. This implies that the TV was not functional for over a month during warranty period of * year.
Now as on **.**.**** the same problem has recurred .
We expect that if such major issues are there in a new TV priced almost *****/- which we paid from our hard earned money , why doesn’t Sony replace such faulty sets instantly . The time elapsed and the loss of faith in the product is high on our minds . Further we are afraid that this repair being done severely impacts our warranty period as now the product post repair has a shorter time left for expiry of overall warranty and customer will be forced to bear the replacement costs for a ab intio faulty product.
Will Sony India take note and rectify their position in this regard.
We also understand from sources that this model was introduced into the market and heavily sold during the pre Diwali offers and that the product was not fully tested for durability/reliability, and even the spares were not readily available as they were under review.
Any how we are the unfortunate few who are saddled with a mischievous product from Sony.
